nmap Scan Engine

Venstap shells out to a local nmap binary on the scan host to perform network discovery, port scanning, and service enumeration as part of an asset's automated scan. Results are normalized into Venstap's standard findings model, so an open port or exposed service surfaces in the same triage queue as a manual pentest finding or a nuclei template match. If nmap is not available on the scan host, Venstap falls back to a clearly-labeled simulated result rather than silently skipping the scan.
