SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)

A SIEM ingests log and event data from across an organization's infrastructure — firewalls, servers, applications, identity systems — and correlates it to detect suspicious activity in near real time. A SIEM answers "what is happening right now" while a VAPT platform like Venstap answers "what weaknesses exist that could let something happen" — the two are complementary, and organizations often want vulnerability findings visible inside their SIEM for broader correlation.
