VVenstap

SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)

A system that aggregates and correlates security event data across an organization for detection and response.

A SIEM ingests log and event data from across an organization's infrastructure — firewalls, servers, applications, identity systems — and correlates it to detect suspicious activity in near real time. A SIEM answers "what is happening right now" while a VAPT platform like Venstap answers "what weaknesses exist that could let something happen" — the two are complementary, and organizations often want vulnerability findings visible inside their SIEM for broader correlation. Venstap's REST API and outbound webhooks exist specifically to let findings and scan events flow into a SIEM or other detection tooling a team already operates.
